AUTEUR is taking over Spencer’s in West Hollywood for one afternoon. A small, invited group, a private facial with one of their estheticians, and the Superlative collection on your skin before it is released.

Forty five minutes to yourself
A private treatment room and a licensed Spencer’s esthetician, working through the AUTEUR protocol on your skin. They will talk you through each step as they go, what it is doing and why.

Aperitivo
A grazing table by Sorella Collective in the lounge, open all afternoon. Come a little early, or stay on afterwards. The cottage is a lovely place to sit.

Something to take home
A few pieces from the collection to continue with, and a card setting out the steps so you can keep the ritual going at home.
The treatment
Built around the Superlative Cleansing Balm and the Superlative Hydrating Essence, the two products at the centre of AUTEUR’s next release. This will be the first time either has been worn outside the lab.
- CleanseThe Superlative Cleansing Balm, warmed and worked slowly through the skin. It is an unhurried step, and it prepares everything that follows.
- PrepareYour esthetician reads your skin and brings it to the right state to receive actives, rather than working to a fixed script.
- EssenceThe Superlative Hydrating Essence, layered. This is the step you tend to see in the room, rather than a fortnight later.
- FinishSealed and set. A photographer will be on hand if you would like a before and after, with no obligation either way.
