When should I start using eye cream?
The earliest signs of eye-area ageing — barely-visible expression lines, slight hollowing, occasional puffiness — typically appear in the late 20s. The skin around the eye loses collagen faster than the rest of the face, so a targeted treatment introduced earlier compounds longer. There is no late date to start, but there is an early one.
Can I use this with retinol or other AUTEUR serums?
Yes. Definitive Eye Cream is compatible with all AUTEUR products and most well-formulated retinoids. Apply Eye Cream first, directly to clean skin around the orbital bone, then follow with your serum and cream on the rest of the face. Avoid bringing retinol directly into the under-eye crease.
Is this safe during pregnancy or nursing?
Definitive Eye Cream contains no retinol and is generally considered pregnancy-friendly. As with any topical product, consult your physician. The peptide and phytoactive complex works without the contraindications associated with retinoids.
