What is a biomimetic peptide?
A biomimetic peptide is a lab-engineered short chain of amino acids that mimics the body's own signaling molecules, instructing skin cells to rebuild collagen, relax expression lines, or restore barrier function.
How quickly will I see results?
Most users notice smoother texture and improved radiance within 2 weeks. Clinical changes in firmness, elasticity, and line depth are typically measurable at the 8-week mark with twice-daily use.
Can I use this with retinol?
Yes. AUTEUR peptides are compatible with retinol and complement its cell-turnover action. Composition No. 1 already includes encapsulated retinol, so additional retinoids are not required.
Is AUTEUR safe during pregnancy?
Most AUTEUR formulations are pregnancy-friendly, but compositions containing retinol (including Composition No. 1) should be paused during pregnancy and nursing. Please consult your physician.
What is the difference between Composition No. 1 and Eye Cream?
Composition No. 1 is our most peptide-dense full-face serum, with seven actives plus retinol and the Liquid Oxygen carrier. The Eye Cream is calibrated for the thinner periorbital skin, pairing Colloidal Gold, SYN-AKE and Acetyl Heptapeptide-9 with a multi-ceramide barrier complex.
